Jacqueline and the Beanstalk is a unique retelling of the classic fairy tale. This all-singing, all-dancing, all-action panto is a fun, heart-warming show from start to finish and the passion of the SEND students is plain to see in their performance.

The show is being performed and recorded this week and will be available to download on Thursday 17 December at 7pm. Use this link to download your copy.

The #FestiveFEFoodbank initiative was launched as a way for FE colleges nationally to support local communities in the run-up to Christmas by collecting 30,000 items and aiming for a fundraising target of £12,000.

Support for the campaign within London South East Colleges has been phenomenal. Collection bins for food or other non-food donations have filled up rapidly and a number of great charity events were organised. These included a Wear Your Own Shoes Week, a Student Union Krispy Kreme Doughnut Drive and a staff and students Christmas Hamper competition.

With 20 FE colleges signed up, over 12,000 items have already been collected and £3,072 has been raised for local food banks so far.

We are well on the way to meeting the targets; our Christmas Hampers initiative collected 1,500 items in just one week, sales of our Luxury Hampers are going strong and there is a Santa Dash still to come on Sunday 13 December.

You can support the initiative by watching the Nido Volans Pantomime from 17 December and making a donation, however small, to the national fundraising platform on JustGiving. Funds from this will be divided up between all the colleges involved and distributed to their local foodbanks.
