The Engagement Team created a runway for our students to take part in the events from Monday 17 October to Wednesday 19 October. The four events saw an audience total of around 275 students who turned up to celebrate different cultures for Black History Month.

Our Level 3 Art students designed their own artwork for Black History Month, which were printed on T-shirts which were worn during the show. Matthew Adu-Larbi, Level 3 Film student and photographer also gained great experience by taking amazing photos of the event at Bexley.

Karina Thomas, Student Engagement Officer and creator and leader of this initiative says: "I would like to thank the Engagement Team for making the events a success. Well done and thank you to all the students for taking part in the show and to all staff for promoting and supporting this initiative - especially the teaching staff for encouraging and involving their students."

Thanks to all the students who took part in their first-ever catwalk fashion show and to those who also came to support their peers. It's been a really uplifting celebration of diversity across our colleges.
