College staff and local community volunteers work together for students' safe return to campus
Since Monday 8 March, when the staff and students at London South East Colleges began returning to its campuses for face-to-face teaching and learning, the College has managed to carry out nearly 8,500 rapid flow Covid tests onsite. This amounts to a 70% take up of the test (overall since the beginning of February) and so far (as of Tuesday 23 March 2021) there haven’t been any positive tests returned.
National Day of Reflection
It has been a year since the first day of lockdown, a year in which national deaths reached into the hundreds of thousands while families and communities have been divided. March 23 is the National Day of Reflection, a day when we can focus on our loss, both personal and collective, and lend each other support. It is also a day to think positively about the future and the kind of society we want to live in.
